A seat represents the licensing unit that determines billing based on the minimum number of protected components across the included modules in each package.
EDR Priority for Seat Calculation:
Laptops and Servers EDR (counted first)
Mobile EDR (counted last)
Add-ons apply when the number of protected assets exceeds the number of seats. The following types of add-ons may be required:
Human Risk Protection Add-ons:
Required when the number of employees exceeds the seat count.
EDR Add-ons:
Required when the total number of EDR devices (laptops + servers) exceeds the seat count.
Mobile EDR Add-ons:
Required when the number of protected mobile devices exceeds the allocated seats.
Email Security Add-ons:
Required when the number of mailboxes exceeds the seat count.
Browser Security Add-ons:
Required when the number of protected browsers exceeds the seat count.
100 employees + 80 EDR + 100 mailboxes + 90 browsers = 80 Premium seats + 20 Human Risk add-ons + 20 Email add-ons + 10 Browser add-ons + up to 8,000 web assets included
50 employees + 70 EDR + 40 mailboxes + 60 browsers = 40 Premium seats + 10 Human Risk add-ons + 30 EDR add-ons + 20 Browser add-ons + up to 4,000 web assets included
